Welcome, I'm Laura
I started my design journey in London, UK, where I spent 10 years working in editorial and layout design for a local newspaper. I eventually managed the graphic design department, and it was there that I discovered my love for logo design. Small business owners would come to us wanting to advertise but had no logo, and I had the joy of creating those first visual identities that helped them step into the spotlight.
London is also where I met my husband and welcomed our first daughter. After taking time away to raise our family and eventually returning to my hometown of Chilliwack, BC, I found myself drawn back to logo design, but this time with a deeper focus on brand strategy and creating logos that carry meaning, not just style.
Outside of design, I’m a wife, a mom to two little girls (and one very cuddly Labradoodle), and happiest when I’m painting, tending to my many plants, hiking local trails, strength training, or planning our next travel adventure.
