Behind Baer Brand Studio
I started my design career in London, UK, where I spent 10 years working in editorial and layout design for a local newspaper before eventually managing the graphic design department. It was there that I discovered my love for logo design. Small business owners would come to us wanting to advertise but had no visual identity in place, and I loved helping create those first brands that gave their business a presence.
London is also where I met my husband and welcomed our first daughter. After taking time away to raise our family and eventually returning to my hometown of Chilliwack, BC, I found myself drawn back to design with a deeper interest in brand strategy and creating identities with lasting meaning behind them.
Outside of the studio, life is usually filled with strength training, painting, caring for far too many plants, walking our Labradoodle Poppy, and planning the next travel adventure with my family.
